I love taking Elise to the field with me. She does it all – lights, sound and shooting – and knows how to ferret out the story we’re looking to tell. Her editor’s eye has often saved us because she knows what we need to capture even if we hadn’t anticipated that need. At the end of the day we get beautifully shot, high-quality footage that she expertly edits into extremely compelling pieces.Tanya Weinberg
Welcomed into private homes, schools, daycares, and community gatherings, I’ve traveled throughout rural America to shoot for Save the Children, and it has been eye-opening. I then edit together short-form documentary content, which is put up on the web and screened at private conferences. The third video up here – I didn’t shoot, but I edited. It takes place in rural Oklahoma after the devastating tornado that ripped up a community and endangered the lives of kids. It has become one of Save the Children USA’s biggest hits on youtube – over 600,000 views.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Elise for several years in a wide variety of industries, and my creative studio would not be anywhere near where it is now without her contributions. Elise is one of the most capable and dependable creatives I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She has an impeccable gift to make people feel at ease and taken care of, and she understands every angle of production. For that reason I’ve never hesitated to call on her for the most demanding and critical jobs – and have sent her in my place to dream jobs around the world – that’s how much I trust her.Akira Chan
Tasha at My Story, Inc is passionate about creating beautiful and personal documentary-style vids and I love to support her because we’re totally on the same page! My favorite collaborations so far have been the editorial work on the personal vignettes for Rev. Michael Bernard Beckwith and his wife, Rickie Byars Beckwith, of the Agape spiritual community in LA. They’re very special folks and it was a great joy editing these pieces!
Elise is a gifted filmmaker and editor. She’s as talented as she is easy & fun to work with. She makes me look good every time we collaborate. A rare find!Tasha Oldham

Elise is a brilliant editor. She’s great at getting quickly acclimated to projects and delivering edits that exceed our expectations each and every time.Derick Rhodes
I’ve had fun editing a bunch of videos for Shutterstock’s blog site. A couple of them have been short documentaries – chronicling Pixels of Fury – a heated, yet fun design competition hosted in various cities. There’s also been a few more experimental pieces, including ‘Exploding Flowers,’ which is pretty neat visually. My favorite, though, was ‘Shutterstock Stories,’ which is a mashup of user-submitted testimonials from Shutterstock contributors around the world.
Tim is a brilliant cinematographer and I have loved editing his work because it’s so gorgeous. It’s also a pleasure because we get to get personal with the characters in his pieces, which is what I love.
Elise delivers a fine creative sensibility and sharp eye for those times when we need to outsource editorial. She is smart, efficient, and very easy to work with. It’s a great combination.Timothy Eaton
After running a production company for 20 years, I’ve become extremely selective when it comes to hiring creatives. Not only is Elise gifted with rare talent, but she’s a dream to work with!Mikki Willis
Elise is smart and creative and works in a timely matter. I would hire her again and again.Nicole Torre
Ms. London came in as Assistant Editor on my feature documentary, Tunahaki. There were more than a few problems with it, but Elise’s positive attitude and daft talent in solving problems creatively helped to win the film its fair share of awards. And well before the story was finished, Elise had won the title of Editor alongside the Lead Editor I had originally hired.Mason Bendewald
After trying to work with a number of people at all different levels (totally green to totally pro, and everything in between), you’re exactly the person we’ve been looking for (and totally pro, by the way). You are easy to work with, you are quick, and you fix all of my mistakes.Tony Pinto
Elise, you’re amazing and our knight in shining armor. You don’t know how much we appreciate your talent, your commitment and reliability. We are looking forward to working with you on many more projects and growing our future together.Tara Pinto
Thank you so much for all your great work over the past few years. It has been a pleasure to work with you—I really appreciate the quality of the work you produce, the ease of communication, and genuine enthusiasm for the projects you’re tasked with.Cameron Grimm
I am deeply grateful to you guys – you have put so much thought and love into this video and the result is so beautiful and really gets the message across better than I could have hoped for… Everyone who watches the video absolutely loves it. I get heaps of good comments for it and it has really helped me convey how passionate I am about my work. This movie is my best marketing tool and has helped me with my business. I have fond memories of working together with you guys on this and am still amazed how much creative effort you have put in. Thank you heaps and I wish you all the best.Verena Maeder
We introduced a number of new programs this year and decided it was important to capture the events on film. Elise was amazing in that she was able to capture magic moments, remain unintrusive and elicit authentic and critical feedback with her warm and neutral interview style. She was incredibly easy to work with, helped us brand each video with editing styles that reflected the tone and theme of the event, and worked at lightning speed. We had video handed over on the same day, interview transcriptions submitted to us the next, and first drafts done in less than a week! I’m not sure how she does it all since I know we were not her only client! She met every deadline, was always ready well ahead of our call time, and everyone who she interacted with loved her! For some of the longer overnight and multi-day retreats, she became part of the family!Gemma Bulos
Elise is a fantastically creative and versatile filmmaker with a strong cinematic vision. She was a tremendous asset on our team and we loved every minute of our time working with her.Geoff Boka

Hi! I’m Elise. I produce, film, and edit short-form non-fiction video projects. Events, online courses, testimonials, interviews, documentary BRoll – I’m in! I have a particular knack for capturing all the magic moments at events, as well as getting captivating material from interviews and testimonials. Much of my work has been in the personal growth field, which I love. I think life is about learning and I appreciate that I get to learn from my subjects on a daily basis.
Some background about me: originally an east coaster – I always knew I wanted to work in film. As a kid, my brother and I took acting classes and joined the Screen Actors Guild. We’d often skip school and head into “the city” (NYC) to work as background extras in big-time movies. As a kid, it was magical being on sets in the big city! All the crew members running around with all their gear – giant choreographed productions that eventually ended up as seamless works of art in theaters. In acting class, we had to run video cameras of in-class rehearsals. I found myself always volunteering to be the one running the camera – it was so much more fun than acting. Revelation!
Fast forward – I graduated with a degree in film/tv production from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts in 2004. But let’s be real – especially in the world of video production, skills are best learned on the job. Right after NYU, I went straight to work in documentary filmmaking in NYC, and in 2006 I relocated to California, never looking back.
By far, the most influential period in my video storytelling life was in 2012. My partner and I packed up all our belongings and headed to New Zealand for an 8 month trip. We purchased a van, packed it with all our video gear, and set out to meet New Zealanders and document their stories and their lives. We lived and worked alongside them, forging lasting friendships and memories, and really – just diving in head-first. It was a diverse and spectacular year – we filmed with a permaculture community, a yoga retreat center, a flax oil plantation, a backpackers hostel set amidst a steampunk-themed town, a Lord of the Rings tour company, and many more. It was in New Zealand that I truly felt the magic of capturing real folks’ stories. People are pretty fascinating! I’ve left some of these videos up at: https://vimeo.com/eliselondon.
Ever since 2012, back in the USA, I’ve focused on capturing real people, real stories, real emotions. I am very detail-oriented and believe in crystal clear communication, especially given remote workflows. Another thing about me – I love working collaboratively as a team. No big ego here!
Video is such a powerful medium for capturing and sharing the human spirit. Let’s make some magic!
